The Oakland Raiders began play in 1960 and joined the NFL in the 1970 merger.  The former head coach Al Davis initiated the use of team slogans such as "Pride and Poise," "Commitment to Excellence," and "Just Win Baby," all of which are registered trademarks.  He is now the owner and general manager of the team and the current head coach is Lane Kiffin.  The Raiders have won 3 Super Bowls and 4 conference championships.  They play their home games at McAfee Coliseum.  The Raider Nation (die hard Raiders fans all over the world) members who attend home games make up "The Black Hole," a specific area of the Coliseum where they wear black and create a frenzy.  Those sections of the Coliseum are 104,105,106,and 107.  So if you're a huge Raiders fan, try to get tickets for those seats!!
