Some Tips and Information for Capital Jazz Fest Concert goers:

knapsacks
tote bags
lawn chairs (allowed on the lawn only)

bottled water and soft drinks

PLEASE NOTE: Not all of the items listed above are allowed in all parts of the venue. Please check with the venue regarding the specific maps.

Tips:

* Bring your hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen - it will be sunny and you don't want to have your day ruined due to a sunburn

*Bring a bag with you - you will want something to keep all of your memorabilia in

* Bring your cell phone - this festival is large and spread-out over the Pavilion and lawn - you will want to keep in contact with others in your party. Also, you might meet new people or run into old friends and you'll want to get their numbers

* Bring any old albums or CDs - you might be able to get the artists to sign them for you

* Don't forget your ID! And a beach blanket if your sitting on the lawn!

* Wear comfortable shoes and clothing! You will be walking around and it will be hot during the day. On this note, also bring a sweatshirt or light jacket since the temperature can drop in the evening

* Bring your camera to capture those memories, your binoculars if you're far from the stage, your ATM and credit cards because there will be lots of vendors and you'll want souveniers, and an umbrella in case it rains.

* MOST IMPORTANTLY: ENJOY THE SHOW!!!!
