2008 Atlanta Braves Schedule

The Atlanta Braves were established in 1871, and they compete in the Eastern Division of the National League.  Since 1997, they have called Turner Field home.  The Braves were division champions a record 14 consecutive times.  They are the only MLB franchise to win a World Series in three different home cities (because the team is older and has moved around a bit, at least in the beginning).  The team is owned now by Liberty Media/John Malone, with  Bobby Cox as manager and Frank Wren as general manager.  The team has seven retired numbers.  Some of these numbers are also retired by other teams, but this is because the Braves franchise originated in Boston, and then moved to Milwaukee before settling down in Atlanta.  The team has also seen many Hall of Famers, which include, but is not limited to:  Hank Aaron, Cy Young, Roger Hornsby, and Babe Ruth.  The retired numbers are:

# 3 – Dale Murphy

# 35 – Phil Niekro

# 44 – Hank Aaron

# 21 – Warren Spahn

# 41 – Eddie Matthews

# 42 – Jackie Robinson (retired throughout baseball)

Hank Aaron is the all-time Major League leader in home runs and RBIs. Hammerin' Hank is also the Braves all-time runs and hits leader. After losing the 1991 and 1992 World Series, as well as the 1993 NLCS, the Braves finally put it all together in 1995. Tom Glavine was masterful over eight shutout innings and David Justice provided all the offense the Braves would need.

We are not the Atlanta Braves Box office, nor are we affiliated in any way with the Atlanta Braves. We are an independent ticket agency that buys and sells Braves tickets on the secondary market. Braves tickets are sold at market prices, not the price printed on the ticket. Our prices reflect the difficulty in obtaining quality tickets for sporting events in Atlanta.

All Braves ticket orders are shipped via FedEx, with a signature requirement. Most ticket orders are shipped the same or next day.
