The
parquet floor, Boston Garden, Tradition. When you think of the
NBA you have to begin in Beantown with the Boston Celtics. The
Celtics were one of the first teams in the NBA, playing their
first home game in 1946. They won their first championship in
1957 and although they lost in 58, the Celtics began a streak
the year after, winning eight straight NBA crowns. When the Boston
Celtics lost in 67 it ended the most impressive championship streak
in American sports history. It was the first time in 10 seasons
that the Celtics had failed to reach the NBA Finals. They won
championships again in 68, 69, 74, 76, 81-84 and again in
86. Due in large part to these legendary names, (00) Robert Parish,
