He is ranked #23 on Rollind Stone's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Bruce has won 15 Grammy Awards (and coincidentally that is also the number of studio albums he has released), and an Academy Award. He has released 25 albums overall, with 16 of them certified platinum or several times platinum.
In 1999, Bruce Springsteen was inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame. His 2 most famous albums are Born to Run and Born in the U.S.A. His latest album, Magic, was the best selling record in the world the week it was released. It features the E Street band and has 10 new songs on it. Some of his hits include "Blinded by the Light," "Born in the U.S.A.," Glory Days," and "Fire."
The E Street Band is Bruce Springsteen's backing band that has toured with him off and on since 1972. The current members are Patti Scialfa (backing vocals), Nils Lofgren (lead guitar, backing vocals), Steven Van Zandt (rhythm guitar, backing vocals, mandolin), Garry Tallent (bass), Clarence Clemons (saxophone, backing vocals), Soozie Tyrell (violin, backing vocals, percussion, acoustic guitar), Danny Federici (organ), Roy Bittan (piano), and Max Weinberg (drums). Of course, there's The Boss - he does (in case you forgot) lead vocals, lead guitar, harmonica, synthesizer, and the glockenspiel.
