The Kansas City Royals are members of the Central Division of the American League.  The team was established in 1969, and have been playing their home games at Kauffman Stadium since 1973.  Also called “The Boys in Blue,” their current owner is David Glass, their manager, Trey Hillman, and their general manager, Dayton Moore.  The team has seen several players and members inducted into the Hall of Fame, and the team has four retired jersey numbers, which are:

5 – George Brett

10 – Dick Howser

20 – Frank White

42 – Jackie Robinson (retired throughout baseball)
