The Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan 2 mile, D-shaped oval, super speedway that opened in 1968. It is a large auto track that seats 137,243 NASCAR fans. Michigan will host the Michigan 400 in June and the Performance 400 in August for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. In August, it will see the Carfax 250 for the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and in June, the Michigan 200 for the NASCAR Craftsman truck series.
