Lyric Opera House InformationFood and beverage are allowed in the theatre lobbies only. For most performances, lower and upper level bar service are available, and the bars are fully stocked. There is also a coffee bar on the first level that serves light refreshments. No glass bottles, cans, food, or alcoholic beverages are allowed into the theatre. Cameras and video equipment are not allowed. The lobby opens about 45 minutes prior to the performance, and the performance hall doors open about 30 minutes prior to the performance. Venue Map
Directions From the North and Northwest: From Washington Via I-95: From Washington Via 295: Patrons are also encouraged to use public transportation, as the University of Baltimore/Mount Royal Light Rail Station is practically directly across from the Lyric. Please contact the Mass Transit Authority for stations near you, as well as hours of operation. Or feel free to use the services of the MARC trains or AMTRAK. Parking Limited street parking is available. On the weekends, the University of Baltimore Parking Lot is open, and there are also parking garages around the area, including the Bolton Yards Parking Lot. |
