Wachovia Center Philadelphia Information The Wachovia Center opened in 1996 and is currently home to the Phildelphia Flyers and the 76ers. It is a part of the Wachovia Complex, which also encompasses the Wachovia Spectrum (which opened in 1967). Audio and video recording equipment is not allowed. Children under the age of two usually do not need a ticket, but they must sit on the lap of a paying customer. Smoking is permitted in the Red Bell Microbrewery's Back Room, and in the Holt's Cigar Club. Directions
