Gennady Golovkin, also known as Triple G, is a Middleweight boxing champion hailing from Kazakhstan. His impressive record has propelled him to success within the American market and at 39 has held multiple titles. He currently holds the IBF and IBO titles as of 2019 and held the WBA and WBC titles in the past. Golovkin is an impressive fighter with 43 matches to his name and only 2 of those ending in a loss or a draw. Out of 41 successful wins, he was able to send 36 of them into knockout wins. 

Before he went professional, he represented his country in the 2004 Summer Olympics where he placed as a silver medalist. His only draw and loss matches were against fellow Middleweight Champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez who is considered a fierce and nearly unbeatable competitor. Golovkin’s most recent match was against Kamil Szeremeta at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood. He defended his IBF and IBO titles effortlessly and though he’s got no upcoming matches on the board, he claims he wants to rise up a weight class.
